Building Communities, Strengthening Lives

It is estimated that on any given night in Las Vegas
13,388 people are homeless.

Clark County School District estimates that 5,220 children enrolled can be identified as homeless.

That number is much greater.

And there is hope
Family Promise (formerly, Interfaith Hospitality Network) is committed to helping homeless families in the Las Vegas valley to achieve lasting independence. We do this by helping our community mobilize to provide safe shelter, meals, and support services for homeless families.

Our Mission Statement:   "Partnering with faith houses and community organizations, we assist families in the Las Vegas Valley to transition from homelessness to stability and independence through compassionate guidance, shelter and education."

We Have Promises to Keep

ALERT! TELEMARKETING SCAM

"Family Promise of Las Vegas" is a nonprofit organization that provides a sheltering system to homeless families in Las Vegas. The "I Have a Dream"® Foundation, Inc-Las Vegas is a non-profit organization that sponsors at-risk children to assist them with after-school programs and tuition towards their college education. We are both respected nonprofits and are not in any manner affiliated with the "Dream Foundation". We have been informed that the "Dream Foundation" is using Family Promise's Las Vegas physical address (320 S. 9th Street) and the "I Have a Dream" Foundation's name as a telemarketing technique to tell people that they have won substantial sums of money in exchange for donations to their foundation.
If you have any information of actual or attempted fraud with regard to a group representing itself as a nonprofit foundation, please contact the Nevada Attorney General's Office at 702 486 3786.
