





- The permanent housing program, for persons with disabilities, may only accept homeless persons with a qualifying disability (one adult must have the disability) and their families (must have children under the age of 18).
- Community needs are met by providing up to 100% of monthly rent expense, utility allowance, and monthly case management, referrals to wrap-around services, food, clothing and transportation.
- Services are provided to our veteran's families, single fathers, single mothers, and dual parent families.
- Monthly workshops on hot topics: section 8 housing, budgeting based on SSI/SSDI income, parenting children in the year 2011, and lastly counseling.
- A family is considered for this program only when they reside in one of the three places described below, as defined by HUD:

1. Places not meant for human habitat: such as cars, parks, sidewalk, and abandoned buildings

2. An emergency shelter

3. Transitional housing for homeless persons
